I can hardly believe I made it through seven consecutive days of work – it’s quite a feat! Last Friday, my workday stretched from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, and just as I thought I’d be able to relax at home, I received a call from the office. They were in a bind due to someone falling ill and couldn’t find a replacement for the weekend nightshifts. Naturally, I agreed to step in. So, I found myself back at work in the evening, alongside Rosemarie, for night shifts. I’ve got to admit, I won’t be signing up for that kind of schedule again anytime soon. In essence, I ended up working seven shifts in just six days – it was absolutely draining! But I managed to push through it.

Now, I’m eagerly anticipating my upcoming vacation to the United States. I really need the break. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for smooth flights because I’m flying standby. So far, things seem to be on track, but we’ll see how it goes. Please send some good vibes my way! Also, I’m counting down the days until I get to see Madonna in August and September. The anticipation has been long, but I’m sure it will be worth it!

As for other updates, there isn’t much to report. You might notice that I’ve given my website a fresh new layout. Let me be perfectly clear, if anyone suggests that my site resembles another one, I’m ready to explode! I personally designed and put together this layout, so if you think otherwise, tough luck. The online world can be overly competitive, and honestly, I’m not a fan of it. This website is my domain; I own it, and that’s the end of the story. It’s my little corner of the internet where I express my thoughts, feelings, and share my experiences with you. So, please spare me any layout critiques – this one’s here to stay as long as possible. This is my space!

In any case, I’ll wrap up my update for today. I hope everyone is doing well, and I’ll be back with more soon.
