The final days of freedom
The whole Justin Timberlake madness in Holland is now behind us, and it’s time to return to reality. But honestly, I’m not quite ready to. I’m still off from work for a few more days, although I have to head back this coming Saturday. Am I excited about it? Not really. Do I have a choice? Not really. I probably shouldn’t think about it just yet. Right now, I’m still enjoying my time off, and why not savor it to the fullest? Seriously.
Today, the weather is beautiful. I stepped out for a bit to do some grocery shopping. I just had my dinner, which was lasagna and pizza – very satisfying! Of course, I’ve been diligently working out every day on my cross trainer. It’s a real challenge, and it feels like I’m not seeing any visible changes, except that I feel more physically fit than before. I have to stay consistent with what I’m doing. I think I also need to pay closer attention to my diet, incorporating more healthy food choices. There’s a tub of ice cream in the freezer calling my name, but I’m debating whether to indulge in just a few scoops. Perhaps I should diversify my workout routine too. Currently, all I do is sweat it out on the cross trainer, and I’m literally drenched. Maybe I should incorporate some other exercises after the workout, like push-ups or sit-ups. Frankly, by the time I’m finished with my sweaty session, I’ve had enough. I head for a nice, hot shower, and that’s that. Well, at least I’m making an effort to keep moving and stay active.
I don’t have much else planned for tonight. I think I’ll continue with my Desperate Housewives PC game – it’s so much fun. I might also chill and chat with my friends online. Tomorrow, I’m heading over to my folks’ house just to relax. I hope the weather holds up for a change; we’ve had our fair share of rain. I mean, it’s already June, and we’re quickly approaching July. I absolutely love having time off, free time – that’s what I live for. Anyway, that’s enough of my whereabouts updates. I wouldn’t want to bore you to death.
