I’ve been immersed in this fantastic game on my iPhone since last December, and it goes by the name of Stardom: The A-List, developed by Glu Games. I previously wrote about this game on my former website, but I’ve decided to revisit the topic because I’m still actively playing it! And, to add to the excitement, I’ve finally made it to the A-List! It’s a highly enjoyable game, although it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, I personally adore it. While leveling up can be quite time-consuming – it took me three months to reach level 16 – I find it to be perfectly fine.

In a nutshell, the game kicks off with a simple objective: attaining stardom. Once you’ve crafted your own character and appearance, you begin on the E-List, and your task is to work your way up the celebrity ladder. First, you secure an agent, and then you engage in auditions for various commercials, television shows, and movies. While working on a project, your aim is to accumulate as many stars as possible during its execution. The game employs an energy system, which can be a drawback for some players, but it suits me just fine. You earn additional energy every five minutes. The more stars you accumulate, the more prominent your success becomes. You garner public attention, amass fans, and earn a significant amount of XP. With each level-up, your energy capacity also increases.

During your downtime from work on a project, you can explore other activities, such as working at a coffee shop if you’re running low on cash, socializing with others, hitting the clubs, dining out, and even asking people out on dates.

Once you achieve stardom, you gain access to a superior agent capable of securing auditions for high-budget blockbuster movies. Some of these projects have longer durations, lasting up to 24 or even 48 hours. You can also enlist a publicist who arranges public appearances for you. The more projects you engage in, the greater the chance of receiving award nominations. Forge connections with individuals, and they can assist you with activities like photo shoots, and more.

You can date people, break hearts, become a tabloid sensation, update your wardrobe and alter your appearance, purchase your own house, and throw lavish parties – essentially, experience the glitzy life of a celebrity in this delightful game! The gameplay primarily revolves around tapping, which might become monotonous during specific activities or while engaging in chat dialogues with other characters.

The game boasts impressive 3D graphics and is fairly expansive. It has received several updates featuring new content, objectives, and more. Give it a try; you just might become enamored with it. Stardom: The A-List is available on the iTunes AppStore and is free to play. However, as with many contemporary games, you have the option to purchase ‘stars,’ which can be used to acquire additional energy and special items such as clothing and accessories.
