Wow, it’s been quite a while since I last wrote a blog post! I’ve been facing a bit of a computer crisis because my beloved MacBook Pro decided to take a little nap—it’s got some cooling fan issues that led to the hard drive throwing in the towel. Thankfully, I managed to back up all my important files, including the ones for my blog. But the rest of the files are pretty much gone for good.

Now, fixing the cooling fan and replacing the hard drive is a doable thing, which is good news. However, I need to check the cost of these repairs, which is something I’m not particularly looking forward to.

So, during my MacBook’s temporary nap, I welcomed a new addition to my tech family—a Mac Mini! Hooray!

For those not familiar, the Mac Mini is a nifty little desktop computer packing quite a punch in terms of power. All I had to do was connect a monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse, and I was all set! I’d been using a PC with some secondhand hardware that was giving me a bunch of problems, so I’d ended up using my MacBook Pro exclusively.

With my trusty Mac Mini, I can continue to work on OS X and enjoy the familiar and user-friendly Apple operating system. And let me tell you, I’m loving it! It’s got 4GB of memory, 500GB of space, and a zippy 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 processor. Not too shabby, right? Okay, I don’t know much about processors and such, but my dad told me it’s a pretty speedy one. My MacBook only had 2GB of RAM and 250GB of hard drive space.

Right now, I’m in the process of installing all my most-used software, which takes a bit of time, but that’s totally fine! It’s refreshing to have a brand new computer. Plus, I’ll be able to edit my vlogs and other content properly.

This month, I’ve been spoiled by Santa Claus, who also goes by the names “mom” and “dad”! In addition to my fabulous new Mac Mini, I also got my hands on the iPhone 6 Plus! This thing is a beast! With 64GB of space, I can load it up with as many songs as I like and record tons of videos too. A massive shout-out to Father Christmas (aka my parents) for bringing me so much joy and putting a smile on my face.

You know what grinds my gears, though? Many of you are aware that I’ve been on a bit of a rollercoaster ride over the past few years, with plenty of ups and downs, bouts of depression, and so on. Those who’ve been following my vlogs are up to date. Apart from my parents, there haven’t been many people close to me who’ve shown significant support and comfort. Yet, right now, when I get something new and exciting, certain people are gossiping behind my back in a negative way. I have zero patience for it. Sure, I don’t care what others think, but why start fretting about me when I achieve something rewarding, after having had no concerns for years during my life’s setbacks? It got on my nerves yesterday, but I’m not going to let it get under my skin. I chatted with my parents about it earlier, and I’m just going to let it slide.

After all the ups and downs, setbacks, stress, and depression, I think it’s fair to say that I deserve a little happiness! Even if it’s through materialistic stuff. I mean, why should I even have to explain that?

Anyway, enough about that! I’m thrilled that I can get back to blogging the way I like it. I could post blogs from my iPhone, but I’m more accustomed to blogging on a computer—it’s just easier and faster. Super excited!

I hope all of you are having a splendid holiday month. I also hope you’re doing well! I’ll be back soon with updates and whatnot. Ta-ta for now, and loads of love to each and every one of you!
