Merry Christmas

It’s been a while since I have posted a new blog post. It’s Christmas today and it feels like it’s a good time to post a little something. First of all, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. May it be filled with lots of joy and laughter. And if you don’t celebrate Christmas at all I wish you a fabulous weekend.

I hope everyone is doing well. I am doing pretty good. I am currently taking a little break from streaming on Twitch. Mainly to just decompress a little bit and having some ‘me’ time, which is always a good thing. I will be back streaming on January 6th.

Christmas isn’t really a holiday I celebrate like most people. As an introvert I usually prefer to just do nothing and be by myself. And that’s what I am doing again this year. I will spend some quality time with the folks the day after Christmas, but that’s it. I don’t really care for anything fancy or be around too much people. It’s not just for me. I used to feel weird about that, mainly because when you tell other people that you prefer to be along they gave you weird looks or they wonder why. But for the last year or two I really don’t care about what other people think about it. Just let me do what I want. I enjoy being by myself and make a nice dinner and treat myself to things I love. It’s nice! And speaking of treating myself, I have been spoiling myself a lot this holiday season.

Since recently I started collecting Funko Pops from The Walking Dead, since that’s my favorite show. And I love it! I currently have eight Funko Pops and I cannot wait to collect more from The Walking Dead. I also got three of The Golden Girls, since that’s also one of my favorite shows, every since I was young! I’d love to have all the Funko Pops from my favorite shows! I definitely want to have ones from Friends as well! So yeah, this holiday season I have been spoiling myself with pops. And I love it!

Speaking of Friends, I treated myself and got the Central Perk Lego set! I actually have been spending hours last night building it. And it’s super cool! I bought this display cabinet from Ikea where I will display all of my Funko Pops and the Lego build of Central Perk will be added to it as well. Super fun!

I also got myself a new Razer gaming mouse for my PC and some new clothes as well.

So, yeah! The year is almost over and I still cannot believe how fast this year went. It’s crazy! I have nothing planned for New Years Eve. It will be the same, just being by myself, have some bubblies and couch hang. Just heavenly. And I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the new year. It’s safe to say that mentally I feel pretty good again. I feel more secure and confident about myself and I really hope that will be useful when it comes to new things. But I think I will post a separate blog post before the new year starts.

But, anyway! That’s all I have to report. I just wanted to wish every happy holidays. I know that the holidays are rough for a lot of people and I just want to say that my thoughts are with you. And that I am sending you lots of strength to get through it.

Thanks, everyone! I will be back again real soon!

Licking my own balls

Nothing too exciting has happened since my last blog post. Except for the fact that I have been very productive with creating videos for my YouTube channel. Doing The Sims 4 speed builds and right now a let’s play as well. It’s been a lot of fun so far. And I have been streaming a lot on Twitch as well. But other than that things have been very mellow.

Earlier this month I was very excited to finally see the season finale of The Walking Dead. We have been waiting for a long time for that and the episode did not disappoint! It was a kick-ass episode. I won’t give out any spoilers, just that it was a kick-ass episode! I am still bummed out that the series will end after season 11. I’ll miss my Daryl! Also, the spin-off of The Walking Dead called World Beyond started. I watched the first two episodes and I am really digging it! I love the concept and storyline. Fear The Walking Dead will start in a few days as well, so more excitement to come. I could wait until the whole new season has ended, so I can binge, but I can’t.

Another show that I did binge is Ratched, on Netflix. Loved it! Not only because Sarah Paulson is in it, but also the whole aesthetic the show has. It takes place in the 1940’s, Loved the colors and 40’s fashion! It was a great show.

And I have been watching some old episodes of Friends as well. I always watch Friends when I have dinner. The other day I watched the series finale, which I haven’t seen in years! Maybe even over a decade! I think I only saw it twice. Because the finale is just too sad for me. I don’t know if there are any other Friends fanatics out there who feel the same. So, I watched the finale again and yes, I had to cry! Ugh, I am such a sensitive bean. Friends will always be one of my favorite shows, ever!

The weather here is gloriously cold. Lots of rain we are having! Which I don’t mind. I only mind it if I have to go out to buy groceries. If not then it’s nice to stay in when it pours! Wearing sweats, lounging on your couch watching shows, or just chill in front of your computer and do some Simming. At the end of the month the clock will go back one hour, which I don’t mind either. It will get darker sooner and I just love it! Turn on the heater, light some candles and stuff. Is there anyone else who enjoys it? And soon I can put out my Christmas tree and decorate, which will make it even more cozy! Who’s ready for it?

Okay, something else… I purchased one t-shirt from my merchandise, the current logo I use on my Twitch channel and on my YouTube channel. Is buying and wearing your own merch like licking your own balls? If that’s the case then I am totally licking them! My merch is going through StreamLabs and I have purchased merch before from another streamer. I was curious how my merch looks like in real life, so I purchased it and I am wearing right now as I am typing this blog post! Of course I had to take a selfie, you know what I mean?

Do not mind my messy “celebrity on a day-off” hair! It’s Sunday and I couldn’t be bothered. You know how it is.

Anyway, I don’t have anything else to talk about. Thank you if you read this blog post in its entirety. You are loved. I wish you all a great rest of your Sunday!

Two months alcohol free!

It’s been a while since I have blogged. I want to give a little update and tell you all that I have been alcohol free for two months now! Isn’t that amazing? I think so! I haven’t had a drop of alcohol at all. The first couple of weeks were quite hard, but I managed to pull through. And I mentioned before that this is just a detox. I have no intention to never ever have a drink again. I might have a drink again someday, but for now I am just trying to hold on to not drinking anymore. Because I used to drink every single night for the past couple of years. I used to drink the strong kind of beer whenever I was streaming live on Twitch, to kinda let loose. Not good at all! I am proud of myself for making it this far.

I do notice some changes physically. My skin feels smoother and healthier. I may have lost a teeny tiny bit of weight, although lately I have been eating a bit more junk than usual. But that’s okay. I do try to consume plenty of vegetables. But most importantly I feel good. And that’s all that matters, right?

So, what else is new? Well, I am still streaming three nights a week on Twitch. I am having such a blast! If you aren’t following me yet on Twitch, feel free to do so! And lately I have been more active on YouTube as well, recording speed builds in The Sims 4 and uploading it to my channel. I really hope to stick to it from now on, because I have been inactive on YouTube for quite some time in the past and I notice it with the amount of views I currently get, which have been dropped drastically. But that’s okay, I enjoy creating content. And when you enjoy something, the rest will come.

I can’t believe it is September already! This year sucks balls big time! For me and everyone else on this planet! Damn Covid-19! And some parts of the world who are dealing with lots of social injustice too and also bad leadership. We are living in dark times right now and I don’t know when all the crap and chaos will end. You know how some people say it’s ‘the end of the world’? It does feel like that sometimes, doesn’t it? Like the end of the world as we knew it! Sure, there’s been a lot of chaos in the world before, but this year it feels like it’s multiplied. It’s kinda frightening when you think about it. We are all kind of in the unknown right now, doesn’t it feel like that? We don’t know what’s to come and what’s going to happen next! The only thing we can do is to keep our heads up and take each day as it comes.

But, anyway! Moving on…

Since a few weeks ago I have been binge watching The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on Netflix! I have seen a lot of episodes back in the day, but not all of them in order. So, I started to do so a few weeks ago and I am having a blast. So nostalgic! I am currently in the final season and I have a few episodes left to watch. That show makes me laugh out loud!

I am excited for next month, because the season 10 finale of The Walking Dead will be released, plus a new season of Fear The Walking Dead, and the new limited series The Walking Dead: World Beyond will start airing! I am stoked, because we have been waiting for the season 10 finale of The Walking Dead for months! And since season 6 of Fear The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: World Beyond will air, I get to watch episodes weekly. Loves it!

I still have to watch the new season of Umbrella Academy, but for some reason I am not really feeling it. I may watch it eventually, but right now I am not in the mood for it. You know what sucks tho? Two shows on Netflix that I enjoyed watching are both canceled and won’t return for a second season! I Am Not Okay With This and The Society! It’s really annoying when the cancel a show after only one season, especially when there’s a cliffhanger! I have mentioned this many times and I’m gonna say it again. If you’re gonna cancel a show after only one season, please give them one more season to wrap up a story line, instead of leaving the viewers hanging. What do you think of that idea? I have seen so many shows on Netflix that are discontinued after one season and it sucks! The idea of renewing for one more season to wrap up things sounds like a great idea! It would make a lot people happy, I’m sure of it! But I guess ‘money’ is the issue, right? Ugh!

Anyway, enough ranting! I am gonna wrap it up here and get ready for bed. I wish everyone a great week! Take good care of yourself and enjoy the rest of your week!
