Today, I must confess, I fully embraced my lazy side. It was my one and only day off, and I chose to spend it indoors, engrossed in the shows I’ve downloaded. Last night, I immersed myself in the worlds of Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters. The plot of Desperate Housewives is becoming increasingly enthralling, especially with the mysterious undercurrents surrounding Edie’s husband, Dave. He gives me the heebie-jeebies, and I half-expected his secret to be unveiled by now, but the suspense keeps building. And let’s not forget the eerie old wealthy lady who happens to be Carlo’s massage client. The Scavo family storyline is equally unsettling, with Lynette’s teenage son, Porter, making an uncomfortable mess by getting involved with his best friend’s mother.

Brothers & Sisters was a delight as well. I’m a big fan of the show, which offers a blend of drama, humor, and exploration of LGBTQ+ issues. Kevin and Scotty make an adorable couple, and I appreciate Kevin’s efforts to be the overachiever in their relationship, even when it sometimes backfires. On another note, poor Kitty is home, grappling with the blues after missing out on the chance to adopt Trish’s baby. And the icing on the cake – Justin’s comical attempt to set up his uncle with a guy he met in rehab.

I also managed to catch an episode of Gossip Girl, featuring a delightful Thanksgiving theme, and Heroes is intensifying with every episode. The prospect of the upcoming Christmas break is not something I’m looking forward to – a few weeks without new episodes, likely just reruns. It’s a bit of a letdown, isn’t it? Oh well.

If you’ve noticed, I’ve made some changes to the website. I tweaked the intro page and updated the header image at the top. I’m not entirely sold on it, but I’m considering the installation of a new WordPress theme for the coming year, even if it proves to be a bit of a hassle. Anyway, my plan for now is to kick back and continue chilling.
