Greetings from Tilburg
Yesterday, right after work, I hopped on a train to Tilburg. I was thrilled to finally be off work, as it had been a busy day. The weekend had officially begun. After a two and a half hour train journey, I arrived at Gisela’s place. We hung out for a bit and then headed over to see her friend Angelique, whom I hadn’t seen in years. It was a blast. We spent the entire evening playing PlayStation, and we even played Buzz! First, we tackled the adult versions and later switched to the Junior version with monkeys and all. We went for the marathon edition. My hands got sweaty from gripping the game controller for about three hours. I’m surprised I can still move my fingers! I had some good laughs and came close to tears. Angelique is hilarious. We wrapped things up around 2:30 in the morning. I was completely exhausted after a full day of work and an early start at 6 a.m.
I just woke up, showered, and enjoyed a continuous sleep of about nine and a half hours. The weather is beautiful. Summer has finally arrived, and it’s about time! Tomorrow, I’ll be heading back home, and the weekend will come to an end. It always goes by so quickly when you’re having fun. But right now, I’d rather not think about work.
That’s it for now. I hope you have a fantastic weekend. And for those of you who have to work during the weekend… it can be tough, can’t it? Take care!
