My dear grandmother peacefully passed away earlier this evening at the age of 95. Two nights ago, she experienced a cerebral infarction, and she didn’t regain consciousness. This evening, we peacefully laid her to rest. I’m grateful that I had the chance to bid my final farewells to her while she was in a coma. I shared my last words and conveyed my love to her.

My grandmother had been battling Alzheimer’s Disease since the age of 86. She grappled with the condition for nine years, gradually losing her memories, but mercifully, never the faces of her cherished family. She was an incredibly resilient woman – the most loving grandmother one could ever wish for. I find solace in knowing she’s in a serene place now, watching over her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Rest in peace, my dear grandma. I love you, and I’ll miss you immensely!
