Dinner and cocktails in Amsterdam
Last Monday, Verena treated me to a delightful dinner in Amsterdam, joined by Cindy. We enjoyed a lovely meal at De Kroon (The Crown), followed by cocktails at the Arc. It was a fantastic evening. Dinner was excellent; I savored a delicious Filet Mignon with pepper sauce, and the wine was just as fine as ever. Following our meal, we had a drink in the lounge area of De Kroon. I hadn’t had a Vodka Lime in quite some time, and it hit the spot.
We then continued our evening at the Arc, a place I hadn’t been to in a while. The Arc is located on Amsterdam’s number one gay street but has become increasingly popular among straight patrons over the years, creating a diverse and welcoming atmosphere.
The cocktails were equally outstanding. I began with a Decadent Mojito, which was absolutely delightful. They combine a traditional Mojito with champagne, creating a taste sensation. I followed it up with a Tai Tai, which was equally enjoyable. We shared plenty of laughter; it was a night of pure hilarity. Despite it being a Monday evening and not particularly crowded, we didn’t let that stop us from having a blast! Eventually, it was time to head home since I had work the next morning. Nonetheless, I had a fantastic time and truly needed it. Looking forward to doing it all over again soon!
