Merry Christmas

Today it’s Christmas Eve! I just wanted to drop a few lines and wish you all a Merry Christmas, to those who celebrate! This year truly flew by super fast. Last year’s Christmas felt like it was only a week or two ago, for me. Crazy, isn’t it?

What are my plans for today? Nothing much, really. I will be spending Christmas with just me, myself and I. I got some deliciousness for dinner today, as well as for tomorrow. I have decided to actually cheat on my diet. I have mentioned this before, I have been intermittent fasting for the past couple of months, like over five months, and I have been doing quite well with eating healthy. I do notice a good change, both physically and mentally. I feel my waist has become a little smaller and I am very thrilled about that. Certain clothes I own I can wear again, so that’s a plus!

But, you know, since it’s Christmas and all, I have decided to cheat on my diet, because I fucking deserve it. So, I got some delicious prepared stuff that I can put in the oven and let it do its thing! I got one pork and one turkey roulade, plus two different kinds of potato gratin, that are ready to go into the oven as well. And some already made haricots verts with bacon. Nom-nom, right? So tonight will definitely be a treat! I also got some random snacks to nibble on after dinner when I will probably lie on my couch like a beached whale, watching sappy and romantic Christmas movies. Now, if that doesn’t sound like top-notch, then I don’t know what is!

Oh, I also got two bottles of South African rosé! So, I may get a little tipsy as well. Which shouldn’t be that hard, because I haven’t had any alcohol for months, when I started fasting. Ah, I can’t wait! Is it weird to get all excited about it? I don’t know.

But anyway, I just wanted to drop a few lines, like I’ve said. I am really starting to repeat myself! I wanna wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Regardless of how things are at the moment on this planet, I really hope you all will have a joyful Christmas, with lots of laughs and delicious food! And I’ll be sure to toast for you all when I start drinking my rosé.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, everyone! Or whatever it is that you celebrate this year. For me this was another Christmas of being with just me, myself and I. On Christmas Eve I was chillin’ and having some quiet time, watching shows and eating a nice dinner. When I did my grocery shopping last Wednesday I got some turkey filet that I had for dinner on Christmas Eve, and a pork roulade for Christmas Day, all marinated and oven-ready. And I air-fried some French fries as well. It was delicious.

Normally I stream on Fridays, but since it’s Christmas Day I decided to cancel stream and just relax and have some needed ‘me’ time.

Normally when it’s the holidays I always find my self wallowing in my own misery, for being alone and not having anyone around. We always get that mindset pushed to us to be together with people and be all joyful and happy. But this year it’s been alright. I am not feeling that sad. I mean I do have some feelings inside of wishing I wasn’t alone, but I am dealing with this better than I used to. Glorious!

Anyway, I have been obsessed with this show called ‘Younger’ and I have been binging it back to back while lying on my couch like a big old potato. I just started season 6 and I am almost all caught up with the show. I can highly recommend ‘Younger’. It’s such a fun and heartwarming show, I am sure you will love it.And Nico Tortorella is in it and he’s such a babe! Oh my goodness! Drooling!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I know this year has been hard for everyone and even Christmas may be different with all the social distancing, lockdown and being in quarantine. But I hope you all made the best of it. We’re all in this chaos together. Let’s hope next year will be better!

Here are some selfies I took a few days ago. I was in a selfie kind of mood. I even polished my nails! Fierce, isn’t it? Meh, anyway, Merry Christmas! I am sending you all lots of love and prosperity!

Spoiling myself for Christmas

So, this year has been total crap for me and millions of other people around the world. And since this year is coming to an end why not treat and spoil myself for Christmas, right? I have been on Santa’s list of good boys. And because I have been a good boy I got two awesome things for Christmas. I got a new Apple Watch SE and a PlayStation 4 Pro! A big YAY for me! Something I love and that I can enjoy a lot.

I actually had my mind set for a PlayStation 5 but they are all sold out everywhere, mostly by annoying scalpers that are out there using bots to buy PlayStations online in bulk and reselling it for triple the amount. So, after a lot of thinking I decided to downgrade to PS4 Pro. And that’s that! I treated myself and I love it!

Early Christmas Spirit

A lot of people look down on others who set up their Christmas tree early. But to be honest, I don’t care what they think. Especially this year, with COVID-19 and all the chaos in this world this year, it’s alright to boost up your spirit with some joy, right? Joy and cozy is where it’s at for me, even though I spent Christmas all alone. The days are shorter and the nights are longer. So this year, like the previous couple of years, I have set up and decorated my Christmas tree!

My tree is not the biggest. It is 180cm tall and each year I decorate the tree with silver and purple balls and tinsel. It makes my apartment look really cozy! Last month the clock went back one hour, so that means it’s dark here at 5pm. And I am living for it! Light my tree and lit candles. It’s heavenly!

Have you already set up your tree? And what are your thoughts of people being so damn early with decorating?
